Senior ABAP Developer – ERP & Application Optimization

Our client, a prominent organization in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced developer to join their specialized ERP unit. The role focuses on optimizing business processes and enhancing user experience through the modification of existing applications and the development of new digital solutions.

• Develop and maintain robust applications based on ABAP to support core corporate functions.
• Optimize working methods and improve user experience by enhancing existing software solutions.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and project managers to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Implement and manage complex SAP Workflows to automate business processes.
• Design and integrate interfaces using Web Services and middleware to connect SAP with external applications.
• Utilize advanced tools such as WebDynpro and IDOCs for enterprise-level development.

• You have 10+ years of expert experience in ABAP development.
• You bring 3+ years of experience working with SAP FIORI.
• You possess demonstrable experience with ABAP development tools such as WebDynpro and IDOCs.
• You're experienced in the implementation and management of SAP Workflows.
• You have experience with Web Services and interface middleware for connecting non-SAP applications.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with SAP SD, EWM, MM, FI, CO, or PM modules.
• Knowledge of Smartforms and Adobe Forms.
• Prior experience within the energy sector.
• Demonstrable experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Start date: 03/08/2026.
• Duration: 440 working days.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
