Test Engineer – Azure DevOps & SQL

Our client, a prominent public sector organization dedicated to environmental and agricultural policy, is seeking a Test Engineer to support a high-priority environmental program. This role involves executing quality assurance for web applications by translating functional requirements into robust test scenarios and ensuring comprehensive coverage.

• Translate functional specifications into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Execute functional tests on new and existing web application features to ensure performance.
• Identify, document, and report test results while maintaining clear communication with the project team.
• Implement automated testing scripts to increase test efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers within an Agile framework to meet quality standards.
• Support business stakeholders during user acceptance testing phases.

• 1+ year experience in quality assurance for web applications using Azure DevOps and Test Plans.
• 1+ year experience with data verification and management using SQL and Oracle databases.
• You have experience in both functional testing and automated testing.
• You possess knowledge of formal test methodologies and techniques.
• You're proactive, transparent, and solution-oriented in your communication.
• You are a native speaker of Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working in a Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of specialized testing suites or tools.
• Experience supporting business users during testing phases.
