Our client, a prominent organization in the transportation and logistics sector, is seeking a Technical Writer to manage the drafting of complex procurement documentation. This role focuses on translating technical and business requirements into clear, structured Request for Proposal documents and technical specifications for hardware materials.

Responsabilités

  • Draft comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for hardware materials, ensuring all technical specifications are accurately articulated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, and legal departments, to gather information and ensure document compliance.
  • Research industry standards, vendor capabilities, and market trends to inform the technical content of procurement materials.
  • Review and edit documentation for consistency, clarity, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure all procurement documents are completed according to the schedule.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and lead the process of collecting information from internal departments and vendor management.

Exigences

  • You have 3+ years of documented experience in technical writing.
  • You bring experience with at least 2 completed RFP projects specifically related to hardware assets such as MFP printers, scanners, headsets, or workstations.
  • You possess a proven ability to draft technical specifications and procurement documentation.
  • You have a strong understanding of the RFP lifecycle and vendor evaluation processes.
  • You're experienced in collaborating with procurement, IT, and legal teams within a professional environment.
  • You possess excellent project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables.
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of driving workshops to align stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch, and French with at least one language at C1 level and the others at minimum B2 level.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with workplace equipment and desktop peripherals market trends.
  • Knowledge of vendor management best practices.
