Fullstack Java /Angular Developer – Public Sector Modernization

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for a skilled developer to support a large-scale IT transformation. The role involves modernizing legacy systems and developing high-performance applications within a complex cloud-hybrid environment.

• Develop and adapt user-friendly web applications to ensure optimal performance for end-users.
• Perform technical analysis for business projects to define the best architectural solutions.
• Advise on data models, integration patterns, performance, and scalability.
• Guide development teams in adopting modern architectural patterns and technologies.
• Resolve complex technical issues within a highly interconnected ecosystem.
• Maintain architectural consistency between legacy components and modern cloud services.

• You have 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in frontend development using Angular or ReactJS.
• You possess experience with cloud and container technologies including OpenShift and Docker.
• You have experience in data persistence and modeling with MySQL, Hibernate, and JPA.
• You bring expertise in modern architectures such as Microservices, Event-driven, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• You have experience with integration technologies including REST, GraphQL, SOAP, and OpenAPI.
• You're proficient in testing and quality tools like JUnit and SonarQube.
• You possess strong analytical and synthesis skills with a quality-oriented and proactive mindset.
• You are active in French, Dutch, and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with IBM WebSphere and JSF.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Stack.
• Knowledge of NIS2 security standards.
• Experience within a federal public service.
