Test Specialist – GIS & Asset Management

Our client, a prominent player in the utility sector, is looking for a Test Specialist to support technical asset management initiatives. The role involves contributing to both major transformation projects and continuous growth activities within a specialized product team.

• Develop comprehensive test cases and test data in collaboration with key users and business analysts.
• Coordinate testing activities and timelines with other project stakeholders and testers.
• Execute functional and technical tests independently to ensure system quality.
• Perform initial defect analysis, follow up on issues, and support the development team with troubleshooting.
• Document all testing processes, results, and defects accurately within Jira.
• Facilitate workshops and report progress to test coordinators and project leadership.

• You bring 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in capturing, testing, and rolling out requirements for large-scale stakeholder environments.
• You possess 4+ years of technical experience with ArcGIS Pro and GIS-related projects.
• You have 3+ years of experience as a Test Specialist, preferably within an asset management context.
• You possess strong knowledge of formal test methodologies and techniques.
• You have experience writing detailed test scenarios and managing test data.
• You bring proven experience in workshop facilitation and possess strong organizational skills.
• You're proactive, agile, and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within Agile or Scrum project environments.
• Previous experience within the Belgian distribution network operator sector.
• Experience coordinating and executing training sessions.
• Ability to document complex functionalities into user-friendly manuals.
