Senior .NET Architect – Energy Portals & Platforms

Our client, a leading organization in the European energy sector, is seeking a technical leader to drive the evolution of their digital portals and platforms. The role involves guiding the technical direction of multiple products within a high-scale microservices environment to ensure a reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.

• Lead the technical evolution of multiple microservices-based products within the portals and platforms portfolio.
• Direct the technical implementation for teams of full-stack developers using modern .NET technologies.
• Establish and communicate a clear target architecture while ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
• Coach and mentor development teams to foster technical growth and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to challenge technical choices and evaluate feature feasibility.
• Organize collaborative technical sessions and investigations to resolve complex architectural challenges.

• You have 8+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET 8 in a microservices context.
• You bring extensive experience with cloud-native orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), K8s, and Helm.
• You possess proven expertise in applying Clean Architecture principles and designing scalable systems.
• You have significant knowledge of data management using both SQL and MongoDB.
• You're proficient in distributed application runtimes such as Dapr.
• You have practical experience with frontend development using Blazor.
• You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to coach development teams within a Scrum framework.
• You have a structured approach to technical investigations and analytical solution design.
• You bring the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-business stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English.
