Data Analyst – Water Strategy & Data Governance

Our client, a leading organization in the maritime sector, is focused on transforming environmental data into actionable insights to support strategic water management initiatives. The project involves interpreting, defining, and preparing complex datasets for advanced reporting and machine learning applications within a dedicated data governance team.

• Interpret and define data requirements to support corporate environmental and water strategies.
• Design and implement logical data models as part of the overall solution architecture.
• Integrate and prepare diverse datasets for reporting and proactive analysis.
• Build and maintain data warehouse components including ETL processes and BI reporting.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate strategic goals into technical solutions.
• Utilize modern data engineering tools to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation.

• You have 3+ years of experience in logical data modeling and data warehouse modeling.
• You possess 3+ years of professional experience using SQL.
• You have 3+ years of experience acting as a professional liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• You bring 2+ years of experience working with dbt.
• You have experience planning, designing, and building data warehouse applications using Cognos or Datastage.
• You possess knowledge of data engineering with a focus on data ingestion and transformation.
• You have experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• You bring knowledge of Python programming.
• You're familiar with Agile development methodologies and data warehousing architecture.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Databricks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
