Platform Engineer – Azure & .NET

Our client, a global industrial manufacturer, is seeking a specialist to evolve their internal engineering ecosystem. The role focuses on maturing an internal developer platform to support international engineering teams in delivering high-quality industrial software solutions.

• Extend an existing MVP into a comprehensive and mature internal developer platform.
• Define and implement DevOps best practices for security, monitoring, and deployment across all applications.
• Develop reusable templates to enable rapid application deployment and standardization.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to align on and implement the target platform blueprint.
• Support development teams by providing tools that facilitate autonomous application management.
• Document the platform architecture and processes to ensure a smooth long-term transition.

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage, and SQL.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.
• Possess expertise in REST API design and implementation.
• You have experience with containerization using Docker and platform monitoring.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguous requirements.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Azure Key Vault and identity management.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
