Our client is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the deployment and integration of advanced camera-based surveillance platforms. The role involves managing a complex infrastructure of fixed and mobile sensors, including smart recognition technology, to support central monitoring operations.
Responsabilités
- Install and configure IP-camera infrastructure and dedicated surveillance networks.
- Deploy smart camera solutions including license plate recognition and other sensor-based technologies.
- Integrate video streams into Video Management Systems (VMS) and central command platforms.
- Manage network connectivity for surveillance systems using VLANs, routing, PoE, and fiber.
- Implement mobile camera solutions and temporary installations for specific operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across the full hardware, network, and application stack.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for architecture and operational procedures.
Exigences
- You have 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.
- You bring proven experience with IP-camera systems and video surveillance infrastructure.
- You possess strong knowledge of IP networking including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, and PoE.
- You have experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) such as Genetec, Milestone, or Avigilon.
- You're familiar with video streaming protocols like RTSP and ONVIF.
- You have experience managing Windows or Linux server environments.
- You bring experience integrating IoT or edge devices into network architectures.
- You're proactive in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
- You have strong communication skills for drafting technical documentation.
- You are fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with ANPR systems or traffic monitoring technology.
- Familiarity with mobile camera solutions or drone video integrations.
- Previous experience within smart city or public sector projects.
- Knowledge of video analytics or object detection solutions.
