ITOT Engineer – Vertical Integration & Industrial Data

Our client, a leader in the industrial services sector, is looking for an engineer to drive the implementation of vertical integration solutions. The role focuses on automating data exchange between production equipment and databases to minimize manual input and optimize digital efficiency.

• Implement vertical integration between SAP, MES systems, recipe managers, and production equipment.
• Manage the secure transfer of batch data and recipes to production systems and databases.
• Standardize and structure industrial alarms and audit trails across various vendors during development.
• Execute detailed testing of data flows and system functionalities during FAT and SAT phases.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for the setup of servers, firewalls, and PC hardware.
• Collaborate with automation colleagues to manage user access and support process programming.
• Produce qualification documentation such as IQ and support validation engineers with OQ activities.

• You possess knowledge of SQL and OSI PI (Historian) for industrial data management.
• You have experience with industrial interfacing between SAP, MES, and production hardware.
• You bring a strong understanding of industrial testing and qualification protocols such as FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ.
• You possess knowledge of networking and infrastructure components including servers, firewalls, and domain controllers.
• You're experienced in structuring and standardizing industrial alarms and audit trails.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with reporting via RtReports.
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming using Structured Text Language or Siemens TIA Portal.
• Interest in predictive maintenance, AI, and OAE projects.

• Duration: 11 months (renewable)

• Working model: Onsite (required for testing and hardware integration)
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers
