Senior .NET Developer – Transport & Mobility Solutions

Our client, a prominent organization in the mobility sector, is seeking a high-level developer to support their transport operations team. This role involves designing and maintaining critical applications that drive planning and operational efficiency across the project.

• Translate application storyboards and functional use cases into high-quality software solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code according to modern industry standards.
• Integrate diverse data storage solutions including relational databases, key-value stores, and blob storage.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, implementing effective solutions to maintain application responsiveness.
• Collaborate with central teams to enhance DevOps capabilities and internal CI/CD processes.
• Maintain high code quality through automation, unit testing, and rigorous version control practices.

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend development using .NET, .NET Core, .NET 8, and REST API.
• 8+ years of expertise in software architecture, microservices, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Event Hub, Cosmos DB, and Functions.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, YAML, and blue/green deployment.
• Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in transactional and distributed system contexts.
• You bring proficiency in version control using Git within collaborative development environments.
• You have experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• You possess a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and the adoption of emerging frameworks.
• You are fluent in English with a minimum level of B2.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with React.js for frontend development projects.
• Specific domain experience in the railway or mobility sector.
• Proficiency in Dutch and/or French at a B2 level.
