Site Engineer AC Substation

Our client, a leading player in the European energy infrastructure landscape, is seeking a professional to oversee the construction of offshore high-voltage infrastructure. The project involves the technical supervision and quality management of substation modules during the critical outfitting phase.

• Ensure safety and quality standards are strictly maintained on-site during all construction and outfitting activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for electromechanical engineering queries and ensure technical alignment between the site and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including welding, coating, E&I, and mechanical inspectors, to resolve site-specific issues.
• Lead quality control processes by managing non-conformities and streamlining site inspection reporting systems.
• Coordinate and participate in on-site inspections while reviewing technical documentation submitted by the contractor.
• Support the construction management team in supervising site operations and coordinating various specialized vendors.

• You have a Master or Bachelor in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• You bring 2+ years of relevant experience working in a multidisciplinary construction site environment.
• You possess a valid VCA VOL or SCC certificate for supervisors.
• You have advanced proficiency in MS Office for structuring technical reports and managing inspection data.
• You're a structured quick learner with a strong mindset focused on safety and quality compliance.
• You are fluent in English.

• Experience in the offshore sector, specifically with topside outfitting or Quality Control systems.
• Knowledge of Aconex.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
