Full Stack Developer – AI & Innovation

Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is expanding its innovation team to develop cutting-edge AI applications for public safety. This role involves building scalable full-stack solutions that integrate locally hosted AI models for computer vision and natural language processing. The developer ensures the seamless deployment of high-performance applications within a complex and secured infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that leverage advanced AI components and machine learning models.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs to support real-time data processing.
• Develop user-friendly frontend interfaces for complex analytical tools and specialized chatbots.
• Integrate locally hosted AI models for computer vision, natural language processing, and speech-to-text.
• Optimize software performance through rigorous testing, debugging, and iterative refinement.
• Collaborate within an agile team to deliver innovative standalone and integrated software solutions.

• You have 5+ years of experience in software development, including advanced coding, testing, and debugging.
• You possess backend development experience with Python and Node.js.
• You have frontend development experience using React and CSS.
• You bring experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
• You have experience with containerization using Docker.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with locally hosted LLMs via vLLM and training or fine-tuning datasets.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and Tailwind CSS for standalone application development.
• Experience with Nvidia Deepstream and vision models such as YOLO, DETR, ResNet, CLIP, or SAM.
• Willingness to take a leading role within Agile development methodologies and coach other team members.
