Communication Officer

Our client is a global leader in specialized maritime and environmental infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on supporting internal and external communication initiatives to ensure consistency and quality across all corporate channels.

• Support the development and execution of internal and external communication campaigns.
• Coordinate communication projects including planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen organizational visibility through events, media support, and partnerships.
• Create and edit content for various channels such as websites, social media, newsletters, and internal platforms.
• Manage social media channels daily to ensure consistent and engaging messaging.
• Maintain and improve communication tools, systems, and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and support organizational communication needs.

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• You bring 3+ years of relevant experience in a communication or marketing role.
• You have experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Drupal.
• You possess strong writing and storytelling skills alongside a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with photo and video editing tools.
