Senior Test Coordinator – Transport & Planning Systems

Our client, a leading organization in the transport sector, is seeking a Senior Test Coordinator to lead large-scale and complex testing initiatives. The role involves defining comprehensive test strategies and overseeing User Acceptance Testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. A central focus is coordinating distributed teams and establishing quality governance standards across the project lifecycle.

• Define the test approach, scope, and objectives for complex projects while ensuring alignment with program schedules.
• Lead and coach onshore and offshore testing teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and supervise the stability of test environments and data.
• Manage the defect lifecycle by tracking and prioritizing issues in collaboration with development and business teams.
• Establish and enforce testing governance and standards in line with industry best practices.
• Produce weekly test dashboards and Go/No-Go readiness reports to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable test plans and risk mitigation strategies.

• You have 8+ years of experience as a Test Manager or Test Coordinator leading large-scale initiatives.
• You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional software testing.
• You possess 3+ years of experience leading test strategy, planning, and execution.
• You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent within Agile environments.
• You bring 2+ years of experience in the transport sector, specifically within a planning department.
• You possess 2+ years of experience coordinating or supervising User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• You have experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, SQL, Azure DevOps, and ALM.
• You bring a proven track record of collaborating with distributed or offshore QA teams.
• You're certified in ISEB/ISTQB.
• You are fluent in English with full professional proficiency in French or Dutch.
