Project Engineer Offshore Cables

Our client, a leading player in the energy sector, is developing a major offshore high-voltage grid expansion to support the transition to renewable energy. This role involves contributing to the engineering and implementation of offshore cable systems within a large-scale infrastructure project during its execution phase.

• Contribute to the engineering and implementation of offshore cable systems within the project team.
• Review technical documentation and manage comment sheets under the framework of an EPCI contract.
• Engage with relevant contractors and internal experts to ensure project alignment.
• Report pro-actively on the status and progress of cable package activities.
• Follow up on the execution of offshore works in collaboration with site representatives.
• Assist in the overall project follow-up within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Seek out opportunities to create additional benefits and value for the project.

• You have a Master in Engineering.
• You bring 8+ years of experience in the offshore cable industry, specifically with cable lay and burial, landfall pull-ins, and preparatory offshore works.
• You have expertise in offshore construction works, including vessel operations, ROV operations, and cable installation analysis.
• You possess a good understanding of survey techniques, GIS software, and route engineering.
• You're an entrepreneurial team player who thrives in an international project environment.
• You are fluent in English.
