Data Engineer – Cloud & API Integration

Our client, a leading organization in the Belgian infrastructure sector, is seeking a professional to join their digital and data team. The role focuses on developing modular data-driven solutions and managing integrations within a SaaS-first ecosystem. This position involves bridging the gap between stakeholders by building robust, innovative data platforms.

• Test and integrate diverse systems and applications to ensure seamless data flows.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize data exchange processes.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data-driven solutions.
• Manage and develop APIs to facilitate efficient platform communication.
• Develop and test prototypes rapidly using low-code or no-code methodologies.
• Build and maintain robust data solutions within cloud-based environments.

• You bring 1+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within the infrastructure or public sector.
• You have knowledge of Azure cloud data tools, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Fabric.
• You have experience with API Management, APIs, Postman, and pgAdmin.
• You are familiar with Databases, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and PySpark.
• You possess knowledge of Odoo and PowerBI.
• You possess a Master’s degree in Data Science for Business or a related field.
• You're a proactive team player with an analytical, solution-oriented mindset and an end-to-end perspective.
• You are fluent in Dutch.
