UX Designer – Digital Interface & Design Systems

Our client, a leading public sector organization, is looking for an experienced UX Designer to play a key role in designing user-friendly digital solutions. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to transform user needs into functional interaction models and responsive interface designs.

• Gather and interpret user requirements to create detailed interaction models and functionalities.
• Apply grounded knowledge of web and mobile interface patterns to ensure optimal usability.
• Plan, execute, and analyze user tests to validate design decisions.
• Develop and expand comprehensive design systems while maintaining consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to deliver long-term design concepts within agile sprint cycles.
• Manage stakeholders within a complex organizational structure to align design goals with business objectives.

• 5+ years of experience as a UX designer focused on responsive screen design.
• 3+ years of experience with stakeholder management within large or complex organizations.
• You have extensive experience with design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Invision.
• You possess hands-on experience with AI tools, preferably Claude.
• You have a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• You bring experience in adapting and plan-based expansion of design systems.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience implementing designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with content design and organizing workshops.
• Working knowledge of French.
