Business Information Analyst – Power BI & Data Modeling

Our client, a leading organization in the water management and utility sector, is looking for a Business Information Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical BI solutions. The project focuses on building a modern data environment and migrating legacy reporting systems to a unified platform.

• Analyze business requirements for insights and translate them into technical briefings for data engineers.
• Design and build dimensional data models to enable performant dashboarding.
• Develop complex reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Support data and reporting analysts in the creation and maintenance of visualization tools.
• Maintain and optimize existing universes within the business intelligence environment.
• Perform functional analysis of source data to prepare for reporting requirements.

• 5+ years of experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP BI, specifically as a designer of universes.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, dimensional modeling, and reporting systems.
• You possess solid knowledge of SQL for data analysis and querying.
• You're able to quickly absorb and apply complex business domain knowledge.
• You are fluent in Dutch.
