BI Analyst – Data Modeling & Forecasting

Our client, a key player in the utilities and infrastructure sector, is seeking a professional to support a critical long-term forecasting project. This role focuses on transforming fragmented data sources into robust data models and comprehensive dashboards to provide actionable business insights.

• Translate complex business logic into scalable and accurate data models.
• Restructure fragmented Excel-based data into centralized and structural information systems.
• Develop advanced dashboards and semantic models to facilitate strategic reporting.
• Align directly with business stakeholders from asset management and supply chain departments to define requirements.
• Build data integration and transformation pipelines to ensure reporting reliability.
• Apply data visualization expertise to create clear and visually compelling reports.

• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or BI Consultant focusing on Data Management (ETL).
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks for data integration and transformation processes.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI, specifically building semantic models and visual dashboards.
• 3+ years of experience translating complex business logic into data models and migrating data from Excel environments.
• You possess a proven ability to work autonomously while maintaining direct alignment with business stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Data Vault or Star Schema modeling.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and DAX.
• Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Experience working within an Agile framework.
• Knowledge of the utilities sector and its ongoing digital transformation.
