Project Management Officer – Energy Transition & Infrastructure

Our client, a major player in the Belgian energy landscape, is seeking a Project Management Officer to support the delivery of critical infrastructure and sustainability projects. The role involves guiding program methodologies and ensuring seamless coordination between Business and IT departments to drive the energy transition.

• Support program and project managers with coordination, guidance, and strategic communication tasks.
• Act as the guardian of program and project methodologies while managing steering committee preparations and follow-up.
• Consolidate monthly and quarterly reporting and maintain the project roadmap.
• Challenge and follow up on risks, issues, and milestone planning to ensure project health.
• Develop presentations and provide on-demand guidance to specific project initiatives.
• Manage resource and cost follow-up in close collaboration with the Program Management Office.
• Facilitate change management activities and strengthen alignment between Business and IT stakeholders.

• You have 3+ years of experience in PMO or Project Management roles.
• You bring strong analytical skills for data interpretation, decision-making, and risk identification.
• You possess financial acumen related to budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
• You're an assertive communicator capable of managing relationships with executives and external partners.
• You are well-organized with a strong attention to detail and a proactive, result-driven mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French with a good level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or PMI standards.
• Experience using project management tools such as Sciforma or MS Project.

• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite).
