Expert Solution Architect – Data & Integration

Our client, a leading organization in the infrastructure and transport sector, is seeking an Expert Solution Architect to lead the design and integration of critical applications and data platforms. This role combines high-level architecture with hands-on development and operational support to ensure the scalability and reliability of enterprise-wide systems.

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions within a complex enterprise ecosystem.
• Develop and integrate business-critical applications and data platforms using modern programming languages and web technologies.
• Build robust data pipelines and transformation processes using relational and time-series databases.
• Implement enterprise integration patterns including message-based communication and event-driven architectures.
• Manage the full software lifecycle through automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Provide operational support and lead root cause analysis for complex incidents in production environments.

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and technical solution design.
• 8+ years in data engineering and database management with PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, SQL, and TimescaleDB.
• 8+ years in enterprise integration platforms such as IBM MQ, MQTT, Microsoft Azure, or TIBCO.
• 8+ years of software development experience using Python, Java, C, or C++.
• 8+ years in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
• 8+ years of experience with Linux environments, Shell/Bash scripting, and Cron.
• 8+ years in data visualization using Grafana, Matplotlib, or PyPlot.
• 5+ years of experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile environments and Scrum methodologies.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with B2-level proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Big Data technologies and high-volume event stream processing.
• Practical knowledge of the Scrum Master role.
• Familiarity with Podman or alternative containerization platforms.
