Senior PLC / Automation Engineer - Robotics

As an ideal candidate, you are a skilled PLC / Automation Engineer with a strong aptitude for technical design and analysis. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about engineering, this position is made for you.

• You work out the functional design for the PLC part of the system.
• You perform technical analyses to design PLC schematics, such as Grafcet diagrams, flowcharts, and communication diagrams.
• You define automation components' technical requirements and ensure feasibility with providers.
• You are responsible for the development of object-oriented code using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal or Rockwell RS Logix.
• You define and write comprehensive test plans.
• You conduct in-house simulations, emulations, and testing.
• You execute on-site commissioning in close collaboration with commissioning engineers.

• You hold an Engineering degree in electromechanics, electronics, or automation (or equivalent experience).
• You have 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and automation systems.
• You are skilled in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, or Rockwell RS Logix.
• You are a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills.
• You are an effective team player who can create innovative solutions within framework constraints.
• You are willing to undertake a PLC Engineering training program tailored to your experience.
• You are adaptable and willing to work on-site in Belgium or abroad.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of English.
