Data Functional Analyst & BI Developer – Healthcare & Public Services

Our client, a significant organization in the public health sector, is looking for a professional to bridge the gap between business needs and technical data solutions. The role involves designing and building robust data warehouses and data marts while working within a collaborative Data Office environment.

• Conduct interviews with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional BI requirements.
• Translate business needs into logical and physical data models with comprehensive documentation.
• Design, build, and maintain BI solutions including data integration, warehouses, and data marts.
• Develop data visualizations and reports using Power BI and SSRS.
• Test analytical solutions and perform troubleshooting to ensure data quality and performance.
• Provide training and demonstrations on data models to end-users.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Project Leaders within an Agile Scrum framework.

• 7+ years experience in data functional analysis and development using SSIS and SSAS.
• 7+ years experience in data engineering with Azure Databricks and Python.
• 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and SQL querying.
• You bring advanced expertise in data modeling using Kimball dimensional modeling for data warehouses.
• You possess strong skills in Microsoft Power BI and SSRS for reporting and visualization.
• You have a solid understanding of DBMS, OLAP, and ETL frameworks.
• You bring a Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• You are proactive, analytical, and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French with passive knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in Master Data Management and Data Quality Management.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect, Azure Data Factory, or other Azure data analytics tools.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
