Solution Architect – Cloud & Integration

Our client, a prominent organization in the utility and digital transformation sector, is seeking a professional to analyze, design, and document IT solutions across the full initiative lifecycle. This role involves translating complex organizational needs into future-proof, secure, and scalable architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategic roadmaps.

• Analyze and design IT solutions while mapping current environments and identifying architectural constraints.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs that ensure consistency between functional needs and technical execution.
• Manage and document the architecture within SAP LeanIX to oversee the lifecycle of applications and integrations.
• Support delivery teams during the analysis, development, implementation, and migration phases of the project.
• Conduct trade-off analyses and validate conceptual architectures through the execution of proof of concepts.
• Report architectural risks and technical debt to relevant governance bodies to maintain high architectural standards.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect designing complex IT solutions.
• You bring 5+ years of experience translating business and functional requirements into comprehensive technical designs.
• You possess 4+ years of expertise in integration architecture including Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or SAP CPI.
• You've spent at least 2+ years guiding delivery or product teams during technical implementation phases.
• You have proven experience with cloud-based and hybrid architectures.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of modeling techniques and frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML, or Sparx EA.
• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate architectural choices to stakeholders.
• You are a native speaker of Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with API management and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of container platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with legacy modernization, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Possession of relevant Azure architecture certifications.
