Our client, a leader in the chemical process and metal recycling industry, is seeking a professional to join their technical department. This role focuses on the mechanical design, work preparation, and on-site coordination of process-related installations during maintenance and shutdown phases.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and construction drawings based on P&ID diagrams for new installations and revamps.
- Prepare technical specifications and work preparation packages for both internal teams and external contractors.
- Manage technical documentation, cost estimates, and planning for project execution and maintenance works.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site execution to ensure safe, correct, and timely completion of technical projects.
- Participate in technical meetings with suppliers and evaluate offers against technical specifications.
- Support the monitoring of project scope, budget, and planning during major industrial shutdowns.
Requirements
- You have a Bachelor or Master in Electromechanics or Mechanical Engineering.
- You bring 3+ years of relevant experience in a technical role within an industrial maintenance environment.
- You have 3+ years of experience with work preparation and site follow-up.
- You bring 3+ years of experience with 2D and 3D design tools for industrial installations.
- You possess a VCA certification and have a strong commitment to safety standards.
- You're analytical, proactive, and able to work effectively under time pressure.
- You are fluent in Dutch with professional knowledge of English.
