Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the corporate BIM strategy, standards, and governance framework.
- Ensure alignment with ISO 19650 and other relevant BIM standards and industry best practices.
- Advise global engineering projects on BIM implementation, execution plans, and digital delivery.
- Support feasibility studies and conceptual design development for new capital projects.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams in BIM coordination, model integration, and quality assurance.
- Review BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Define modeling environments, interoperability requirements, and digital workflows across multiple platforms.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize BIM software and digital engineering technologies.
- Collaborate with Data & Digital teams to support BIM data management and Big Data strategies.
- Develop training programs, mentor BIM professionals, and promote continuous improvement across the organization.
- Monitor BIM performance, identify opportunities for innovation, and report progress to senior management.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and technical forums.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- BIM certification(s) preferred.
- Extensive experience in BIM management within industrial, pharmaceutical, or life sciences projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, ISO 16739 (IFC), ISO 29481, ISO 23387, ISO 21597, ISO 12006, and ISO 8000.
- Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AEC Collection, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, and Build.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, digital project delivery, lifecycle asset management, and BIM automation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
