Business Analyst – Data & Analytics Platforms

Our client, a leading organization in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a specialist to support their decision-making digitalization program. This role acts as a functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions on a modern data platform.

• Gather and analyze business, reporting, and analytics requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to define source-to-target mappings and transformation requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria within an Agile framework.
• Support the integration of data from operational systems and flat files into a Databricks environment.
• Define and document KPIs, business rules, and data quality controls in collaboration with business users.
• Facilitate workshops between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and prioritization.

• 5+ years experience in business analysis, functional analysis, or data analytics roles.
• 3+ years experience with Power BI reporting and semantic modeling.
• Experience working with SAP or ERP-related datasets.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data environments and analytics platform architectures.
• You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a data-oriented mindset.
• You are proactive and demonstrate a high sense of ownership and collaborative spirit.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with at least B1 proficiency in English and a good understanding of the other national language.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Databricks, Lakehouse concepts, or modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with medallion architecture principles.
