Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a senior professional to strengthen the backend development team of their in-house identity orchestration platform. This role focuses on maintaining existing components while driving a transition to a modern, cloud-native architecture on Azure with a heavy emphasis on Identity & Access Management (IAM).

Responsibilities

  • Drive the migration of existing .NET components toward a cloud-native architecture on Azure.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Azure components including Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Support IAM-related topics such as user provisioning, API security, token conversion, and identity governance.
  • Collaborate with analysts and architects to translate functional specifications into secure technical solutions.
  • Manage IAM-related incidents and vulnerability management for owned components.
  • Maintain implementation quality through component and integration testing and thorough documentation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET.
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud development and cloud-native services.
  • Expertise in SQL relational database design, including T-SQL stored procedures and functions.
  • Solid experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs and JSON.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
  • Possession of AZ-900 or AZ-204 certifications.
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in distributed, international teams.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with SCIM-based user provisioning.
  • Knowledge of OIDC, OAuth, and modern authentication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Keycloak, Open Policy Agent, or fine-grained access control.
  • Experience with Identity Governance (IGA) and token conversion.
