Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead their data office program. This role focuses on driving data-driven decision-making and innovation through the development of robust governance, data strategies, and AI integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and structure the data office program to enhance data-driven operations and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and refine a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
- Act as a strategic lead for data initiatives, focusing on innovation and the adoption of AI.
- Foster data governance and data literacy by engaging with business leadership at the director level.
- Manage complex projects and professionalize general data management practices across the organization.
- Align business objectives with the execution of the data strategy roadmap to ensure broad organizational support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, AI, or Business Intelligence.
- 8+ years of proven experience in people management, leading teams of 15+ individuals.
- Extensive experience in managing complex projects within Agile environments.
- Strong background in Strategic Management and stakeholder engagement within complex structures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive leadership and a solution-oriented mindset.
- You are fluent in Dutch with professional proficiency in French and English.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of FISP 2.
- Experience driving innovation through organizational change.
