Our client, a key player in the Belgian energy landscape, is seeking a System Expert Service to strengthen advanced analytical and modelling activities within a transmission network environment. This role involves providing expert-level technical support for infrastructure projects while contributing to the robustness of ongoing analytical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute advanced power network analyses, including load flow and steady-state studies.
- Perform voltage and dynamic stability analyses to ensure network reliability.
- Manage network modelling and the validation of technical input data.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripting for simulation tasks.
- Provide expert technical support and coaching to internal engineering and analyst teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical outputs.
Requirements
- You possess a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems or Transmission Networks.
- You bring 8+ years of professional experience in power engineering specifically within a Transmission System Operator (TSO).
- You have advanced expertise in transmission network studies and power system simulation.
- You possess hands-on knowledge of PowerFactory (DigSILENT) and automation scripting with Python.
- You're able to work independently in high-criticality environments with a strong solution-oriented mindset.
- You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch and/or French.
