Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their large-scale agile environment. This role focuses on defining test strategies and developing automation scripts to ensure the reliability of critical transport management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for critical transport infrastructure applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress.
  • Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Perform API testing using ReadyAPI and manage defect reporting within Jira.
  • Execute production validations to guarantee the stability and performance of software solutions.
  • Collaborate within a LeSS framework to drive continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium or Cypress.
  • You bring experience with scripting in Java or JavaScript for automation frameworks.
  • You possess knowledge of API testing and tools such as ReadyAPI.
  • You have experience working with SQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • You possess experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and defect management in Jira.
  • You bring practical experience working within Scrum and LeSS methodologies.
  • You have ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certifications.
  • You hold a Scrum Fundamental Certified (SFC) credential.
  • You're proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French (C2) with a good understanding of the other and a professional level of English.

Nice to Haves

  • Understanding of web environments and client-server architectures.
