Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop a digital solution for financial sector supervision. The role involves building a modular platform that replaces legacy systems by integrating new features using modern cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications within a cross-functional project team.
- Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Lead the migration of custom-developed solutions to Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Conduct code reviews and optimize software performance to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Own specific application domains, coordinating technical solutions from design through to production rollout.
- Enforce architecture, security, and framework guidelines across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years backend development with ASP.NET Core and C#.
- 5+ years frontend development with Angular and TypeScript.
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including cloud-native projects and migration initiatives.
- 5+ years experience in architecture and design focusing on Cloud Solution Architecture, RESTful endpoints, and data modeling.
- 3+ years experience with data and integration using MS SQL Server.
- You possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You have experience with DevOps practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- You're proactive and capable of performing advanced code reviews and non-functional requirement optimization.
- You are fluent in English with native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch or French.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in functional analysis and workload estimation.
- Knowledge of performance and query optimization.
