Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site, is seeking a Project Manager/Engineer to lead capital investment projects. The role involves managing projects across facilities, utilities, process, and packaging equipment while supporting various operational departments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion within agreed timelines and budget.
- Lead steering committees with management and global stakeholders to report on status, budget, cashflow, and milestones.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from investigating business cases and preparing scopes to technical supplier evaluation.
- Execute detailed design, construction, installation, and startup phases while maintaining strict cost control and documentation.
- Oversee change management in a GMP environment, including design reviews and qualification (DQ).
- Manage commissioning and installation qualification (IQ) activities, including FAT and SAT.
- Provide validation support for OQ and PQ phases and ensure a smooth handover to end-users.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience in Project Management within a GMP-regulated environment.
- You bring expertise in managing capital investment projects from definition through to commissioning and handover.
- You possess technical knowledge of utilities, including HVAC, electrical systems, and cleanrooms.
- You have experience with qualification and validation processes such as DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- You're familiar with commissioning procedures including FAT and SAT.
