Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Azure Data Platform

Our client, a prominent organization in the infrastructure and transportation sector, is seeking a skilled professional to join their agile data team. The role focuses on designing and implementing advanced data pipelines, architectures, and analytical models within a modern cloud environment.

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for data collection, storage, and transformation.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, Python scripts, and Spark notebooks.
• Build comprehensive business intelligence solutions using integration and analysis services.
• Architect robust data models utilizing relational, star schema, and data vault methodologies.
• Collaborate with business users and data analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production data systems.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
• 5+ years working with Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Proven expertise with Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud architectures.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling techniques including Relational, Star Schema, and Data Vault.
• You possess certifications in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Azure Data Engineering.
• You hold a Master’s degree in IT, Data Science, or a related field.
• You're an analytical thinker and a proactive communicator.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English with C1 level proficiency.
