Our client, a prominent provider in the professional services sector, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support critical infrastructure initiatives. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable cloud-based systems within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design and monitor Azure cloud blueprints, ensuring alignment with governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Implement best practices for scalability, high availability, and cost optimization within the cloud environment.
- Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Integrate and evaluate new Azure services to support the overarching technology strategy.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions to bridge the gap between software delivery and reliable infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide operational support for critical infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with technology teams to translate architectural decisions into practical, actionable solutions.
Requirements
- You bring 5+ years of professional experience in the Azure ecosystem, ensuring infrastructure is robust and secure.
- You possess strong skills in Terraform to deploy and manage resources via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- You have hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) and API integrations.
- You're experienced in building CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
- You have a deep understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- You possess a builder mentality and take active ownership of technical components and cost optimization.
- You are a strong communicator capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French, or English.
Nice to Haves
- Possession of an Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Willingness to stay ahead of industry trends and embrace new technical standards.
