Senior Team Lead – Security Architecture & Risk Governance

Our client, a major organization in the transportation sector, is looking for an expert to define and maintain the security architecture framework. This role combines strategic direction with architectural oversight to ensure cybersecurity principles are embedded across all IT and business initiatives. The lead will structure and guide a team of architects while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise architecture objectives.

• Define and maintain the organization’s security architecture framework, including security standards and domain-specific security architectures.
• Lead and mentor a team of security architects, ensuring coherence across projects and role clarity.
• Establish security architecture governance processes, including design authorities and risk-based review mechanisms.
• Translate business requirements into secure architectural solutions and risk-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and operational domains to ensure cybersecurity resilience and compliance.
• Oversee architectural decisions within cyber resilience, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.

• You possess 10+ years of experience in ICT with a focus on enterprise environments.
• You have 5+ years of expertise in Security Architecture and Risk Management.
• You bring a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Economics.
• You possess at least two high-level security certifications such as (ISC)² CCSP, (ISC²) CISSP, CSA CCSK, or CCZT.
• You have expert knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 2700x, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework guidelines.
• You're familiar with SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent enterprise architecture principles.
• You have experience performing risk assessments and implementing security controls for large, complex organizations.
• You're a proactive leader with experience in coordinating and mentoring a team of architects.
• You are fluent in English with professional proficiency in French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Possession of ISACA CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC 42001, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications.
