Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Test Analyst to support a large-scale claims management transformation program. The role involves managing the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from strategy definition to hands-on execution and defect investigation, within a complex environment integrated with legacy back-office systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the testing strategy and master test plan for a major system transformation project.
- Design and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test cases to ensure full coverage of business processes.
- Investigate unexpected system behaviors and identify root causes of defects across APIs and messaging components.
- Manage the defect lifecycle including prioritization, reporting, and coordination with development teams.
- Establish overall test scope and approach in collaboration with architects and business analysts.
- Coordinate non-functional testing activities and contribute to release regression testing.
- Identify and create required test data to perform comprehensive test scenarios.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test strategy definition, test analysis, and execution.
- 5+ years of experience in defect management and defining high-level test structures.
- 3+ years of professional experience within the insurance sector and business process management.
- 3+ years of experience using Excel for investigating end-to-end flow issues.
- 1+ years of technical experience with API testing.
- 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
- 1+ years of experience with SQL and DB2.
- You are proactive, analytical, and possess strong communication skills.
- You are fluent in English, combined with fluency in either Dutch or French and passive knowledge of the other.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with case management and workflow management tools.
- Experience with claims management systems.
- Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cucumber.
- Willingness to obtain knowledge of non-functional requirements and software architecture.
