Our client, a prominent organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Test Analyst to support a major transformation program for non-life claims management. This hands-on role involves coordinating testing activities and performing technical investigations across complex system integrations and case management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the testing strategy, master test plan, and overall test approach for medium to large-scale projects.
  • Design, execute, and maintain technical and functional test scenarios for system, integration, and end-to-end testing levels.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to identify quality risks and identify necessary test data.
  • Investigate incidents and root causes of defects by analyzing APIs, integrations, and end-to-end transaction flows.
  • Monitor test progress and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders while managing the defect lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to ensure adequate coverage of business processes.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in test analysis, test execution, defect management, and defining test strategies.
  • You possess 3+ years of knowledge in Business Process Management and test engineering within the Insurance sector.
  • You bring 3+ years of experience supporting functional analysis and investigating issues in end-to-end (E2E) flows.
  • You have 1+ years of experience with SQL, DB2, and API testing.
  • You possess 1+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps.
  • You have experience using MS Excel for test-related tasks.
  • You're analytical, pro-active, and possess excellent communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • You are fluent in English with fluency in either Dutch or French and at least passive knowledge of the other.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Pegasystems or similar workflow and case management tools.
  • Experience with Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright or Cucumber.
  • Basic knowledge of non-functional requirements and software architecture.
