Our client, a prominent organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Senior System Integration Tester to safeguard the quality and stability of its complex IT landscape. This role focuses on ensuring seamless end-to-end processes and robust connectivity between diverse applications and external platforms.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the integration workstream within various large-scale IT projects.
- Identify risks proactively within complex system landscapes and multi-layered architectures.
- Analyze, design, document, and execute comprehensive system integration and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Test complex chains and interfaces including APIs, messaging protocols, and batch processing.
- Analyze test results, report defects clearly, and monitor the bug lifecycle through to resolution.
- Define and maintain the overarching test strategy for system and integration testing.
- Coach and guide junior and medior testers while sharing best practices with the test team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in system integration testing and end-to-end testing within complex IT environments.
- You possess deep knowledge of integration patterns such as APIs, REST/SOAP, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- You bring proficiency with API testing tools including Postman and ReadyAPI.
- You're experienced with test management tools like Tosca, Cypress, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
- You have a minimum ISTQB Foundation certification.
- You bring experience working within Agile, Scrum, or DevOps frameworks.
- You possess an analytical and problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with test automation at the integration level.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
- Functional knowledge of insurance processes.
