OT Data Engineer – Real-time Data & Infrastructure

Our client is seeking an OT Data Engineer to manage the end-to-end processing and development of operational technology data flows. The role focuses on bridging real-time field data with historical platforms and analytical environments to ensure high-performance data delivery.

• Manage the end-to-end processing and further development of real-time data flows from field operations to historical data platforms.
• Maintain system stability, security, and performance through regular health checks, upgrades, and patching.
• Design and implement database infrastructure and pipelines to make data accessible for analysts and data scientists.
• Execute data quality management and coordinate necessary data refreshes with stakeholders.
• Develop new system integrations and data products based on evolving business requirements.
• Optimize existing data environments through continuous technical research and architectural improvements.

• You have 5+ years of experience building data products and managing complex system integrations.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in system administration within Linux, Unix, or Windows infrastructure.
• You bring 5+ years of experience working with relational databases, specifically Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• You have a strong background in data management and processing large datasets.
• You're proficient in scripting using Python and Shell.
• You possess a proactive and curious mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• 2+ years of experience with Apache Cassandra environments.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 standards and a security-oriented mindset.
• Experience with SCADA systems within an OT environment.
• Experience managing large-scale, business-critical applications.
