Our client is a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry seeking a professional to join their procurement team. This role focuses on executing category strategies that deliver value, optimize commercial leverage, and integrate sustainability into the supplier ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing operations including full RFI and RFQ processes.
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals and risk management frameworks.
  • Lead negotiations on terms and conditions while ensuring collaboration with legal departments.
  • Nurture supplier relationships and manage performance through established KPIs and SLAs.
  • Integrate sustainability and environmental criteria into procurement contracts and supplier assessments.
  • Analyze spend categories and provide fact-based sourcing recommendations to governance groups.

Requirements

  • You possess a Master's degree or equivalent through significant professional experience.
  • You bring 3+ years of experience in strategic procurement or sales roles.
  • You have experience in procurement management including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • You're proficient in data analysis and procurement software.
  • You have strong collaborative skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with medical and market research agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of supplier markets within the assigned portfolio.
