Our client is a key organization in the energy sector focused on ensuring the reliability and sustainability of national electricity supply. The project involves establishing a harmonized document management governance system to support innovation and streamline information handling. This role is essential for building a structured and secure information environment within a diverse and passionate team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure a harmonized document management governance system.
  • Establish and maintain standards and procedures for metadata, localisation, version control, and retention.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure system compatibility, data integrity, and information security.
  • Train and support users in document management and archiving best practices to promote system adoption.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and intervene when necessary to maintain governance standards.
  • Analyze existing processes and design new workflows to optimize information management and document handling.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You bring experience in setting up or harmonizing document management governance systems within business or technical environments.
  • You have experience with digitalization initiatives and change management.
  • You possess strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to implement document control procedures from scratch.
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the other national language and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Knowledge of ISO 15489 or other international record management standards.
