Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the expansion and optimization of their vulnerability and attack surface management services. This role combines technical expertise with a strong operational focus to enhance digital security across diverse organizational entities. The analyst will be responsible for identifying risks, automating data processes, and providing actionable remediation guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze vulnerabilities and exposures from diverse sources while validating findings to filter noise and false positives.
  • Prioritize security findings based on risk using CVSS, EPSS, and exploitation status within the organizational context.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and API integrations to automate data collection, enrichment, and reporting.
  • Provide actionable recommendations and support for remediation actions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute cyber awareness initiatives and phishing simulations to strengthen the organization's security posture.
  • Contribute to the documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of security processes and governance.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst focused on vulnerability management, identification, and risk-based prioritization.
  • You bring 3+ years of experience with vulnerability scanning and exposure management solutions, including configuration and interpretation.
  • You possess 3+ years of experience as a Security Consultant within data, infrastructure, or application environments.
  • You have proven experience in scripting and automation using Python for API integrations and data processing.
  • You bring experience analyzing, optimizing, and documenting security processes and governance.
  • You possess in-depth expertise in information security domains such as Privileged Access Management or encryption solutions.
  • You have experience translating technical findings into reports and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You're experienced with ticketing and workflow systems like Jira or ServiceNow for remediation tracking.
  • You're proactive and solution-oriented with a focus on operational excellence.
  • You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27000, NIST, OWASP, or CIS Critical Security Controls.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CEH.
  • 3+ years of experience with cyber awareness programs and phishing simulations.
