Expert System Engineer – Intune & SCCM

Our client, a major organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking an expert to manage and optimize their extensive end-user device environment. The project involves technically expanding, planning, and maintaining a large-scale backend and endpoint infrastructure to ensure business continuity across thousands of devices.

• Evaluate backend and endpoint infrastructure to define upgrades, changes, and expansion proposals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate hardware and software solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Develop technical designs in alignment with specific architectural requirements and implement system improvements.
• Provide high-level support and maintenance for the IT infrastructure following ITIL methodologies.
• Deliver technical advice and information to internal and external stakeholders regarding the technology stack.
• Maintain technical documentation and actively share expertise within the engineering team.

• You possess 8+ years of experience in system engineering within large-scale environments of at least 100,000 endpoints.
• You have expert knowledge of Intune, including MDM, MAM, BYOD, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Conditional Access Policies.
• You bring advanced expertise in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), focusing on distribution groups, task sequences, and software management.
• You have in-depth experience with Active Directory, LDAP, GPO, and domain management.
• You possess deep expertise in infrastructure stacks for Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
• You have 5+ years of experience with PowerShell and VBScript for infrastructure automation.
• You bring broad knowledge of Azure, including license assignment and dynamic groups, alongside Office 365 and Windows Defender.
• You possess a solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN.
• You’re able to interact effectively with diverse technical and business stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a very good level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Certifications in MCSA, MCSE, or MCSD.
• Experience with ServiceNow or PM² methodology.
• Knowledge of PatchMyPC or 3rd party MDM solutions like Knox or KAI.

• Start date: 01/01/2027.
• Duration: Until 31/12/2028.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid (with the requirement to be onsite up to 5 days per week as needed).
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
