Our client, a major organization in the transport and logistics sector, is initiating a significant renewal phase of its managed services contract. The project involves orchestrating the migration of services, systems, and responsibilities across complex cloud and on-premises environments. This role serves as the primary technical link between internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless continuity and high-quality knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive transition plans, timelines, and technical checklists to ensure project alignment.
- Coordinate technical onboarding and offboarding activities between internal teams and external service providers.
- Orchestrate technical knowledge transfer, including documentation handovers, system access transfers, and process walkthroughs.
- Identify potential transition risks and implement robust mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Oversee the accuracy of technical documentation, asset inventories, and configuration records prior to handover.
- Monitor early-life support phases and validate system stability post-transition to prevent service disruptions.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience within an IT environment.
- 10+ years of experience in technical transition coordination specifically between outsourcing partners.
- 10+ years of expertise in IT infrastructure domains including Servers, Networks, and Cloud Platforms.
- 10+ years of experience coordinating technical documentation such as Runbooks, SOPs, and Asset/Configuration Records.
- 10+ years of experience managing complex workstreams using structured project plans and tracking tools.
- You possess a proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1 level) and possess at least B2 level proficiency in the other national language and English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with specific monitoring infrastructure tools and colocation services.
