Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for an AI Governance Officer to operationalize an effective and compliant framework. The role acts as the primary liaison between business units and risk management functions to ensure alignment with both regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an operational, integrated AI Governance framework by designing and deploying practical processes across the organization.
- Translate regulatory requirements from the EU AI Act into operational governance measures in collaboration with risk and legal teams.
- Implement a centralized AI inventory and formalize comprehensive AI lifecycle management processes.
- Coordinate stakeholders across business units, data offices, and external partners to foster effective communication and collaboration.
- Promote organizational awareness by providing information and training regarding AI governance and regulatory developments.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the governance framework based on evolving risks, regulations, and business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with the EU AI Act and understanding of AI and GenAI challenges.
- 3+ years of experience with Data Governance and Risk Management.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- You possess an analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex topics and present them with high-quality writing.
- You're able to balance compliance rigor with business pragmatism.
- You're proactive and solution-oriented.
