People Excellence Partner

Our client, a leading life sciences organization, is seeking an experienced People Excellence Partner for a fixed-term assignment. This role provides site-based support across various people processes, employee relations, and strategic initiatives. The position requires a high degree of autonomy to manage an active portfolio within a research and development environment.

• Lead the year-end performance cycle including timeline coordination, manager guidance, and system follow-up.
• Manage employee relations cases such as performance improvement plans and long-term absence monitoring in compliance with local social legislation.
• Develop and deliver training programs focused on neurodiversity and inclusive people management for managers and employees.
• Coordinate site-specific recognition events and participate in international awareness day roadshows.
• Support digital transformation projects including knowledge management migrations and system transition initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to communicate new organizational frameworks and performance criteria.
• Lead change communications and testing for the implementation of a new time management system.

• You have 5+ years of relevant experience in an HR generalist or people partner role.
• You bring solid knowledge of Belgian social legislation, employment law, and social security frameworks.
• You possess experience managing employee relations, performance management, and long-term absence cases.
• You have strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AI tools, and digital HR platforms.
• You're a proactive professional with strong organizational and presentation skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
