Our client, a leader in facility and infrastructure services, is looking for a specialist to oversee technical building IT systems. The role focuses on the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless coordination between external contractors and internal operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects from initiation to delivery, managing scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Coordinate multiple internal project members and external suppliers simultaneously across various technical domains.
  • Conduct detailed studies and design functional specifications for new or existing technology solutions.
  • Validate supplier offers and prepare technical documentation for tender processes.
  • Monitor project risks and financial performance, providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage the transfer of completed projects to support teams, including documentation and training.
  • Act as third-line support to resolve critical technical incidents and cable-related escalations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management within building automation, telecom, or electrical infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of experience managing project budgets ranging from €100k to €5M.
  • You possess proven experience with structured cabling, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, or fire detection systems.
  • You have applied professional project management methodologies such as PM², PRINCE2, or PMBOK.
  • You bring demonstrated knowledge of IT networks and physical infrastructure.
  • You possess basic knowledge of ARAB/AREI standards.
  • You have experience coordinating multiple suppliers within complex technical project environments.
  • You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You're proficient in Excel and standard MS Office tools for professional reporting.
  • You are fluent in French (minimum C1) with professional knowledge of Dutch or English (minimum B2).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in project risk and change management identification and mitigation.
  • Proven ability to join ongoing projects and become operational quickly.
  • Expertise in financial follow-up, including invoice handling and reporting systems.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to operational sites across Wallonia and Brussels.
