Our client, a prominent pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a Visual Inspection Specialist to support a major aseptic manufacturing CAPEX project. This strategic role focuses on the implementation of an automated visual inspection system for injectable products, serving as the primary technical expert during the design and procurement phases.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for automated visual inspection technologies within an aseptic manufacturing environment.
  • Define and refine User Requirement Specifications (URS) and participate in equipment and process design reviews.
  • Support supplier selection and technical evaluations of visual inspection equipment throughout the procurement phase.
  • Develop defect detection strategies and classification approaches specifically for syringes and injectable products.
  • Ensure project compliance with GMP, Annex 1, Annex 11, GAMP 5, and Data Integrity standards.
  • Lead commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) activities, including participation in FAT and SAT.
  • Contribute to the integration of visual inspection systems with MES and eBR digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

  • You have a Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, Optics, or a related scientific field.
  • You bring 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on automated visual inspection systems for injectables.
  • You possess hands-on experience working directly with automated visual inspection machines and defect detection processes.
  • You have solid knowledge of GMP, Annex 1, Annex 11, GAMP 5, and Data Integrity (ALCOA+) principles.
  • You bring experience in Computerized System Validation (CSV) and industrial automation architecture.
  • You're autonomous and possess strong decision-making skills and assertiveness.
  • You are fluent in English.

  • Experience participating in the implementation or deployment of a new visual inspection platform.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-enabled inspection technologies and MES/eBR integration.
  • Knowledge of French.
